What you see here are a few small pieces of haunted software. You write something small just for fun. You make the mistake of putting it on the web. Someone links to it. The fun never stops.
The email verifier is the most haunted of these.
The patch for NetBSD was produced as part of a BSc thesis project at Chalmers University of Technology. I wasn't the only one working on it, but I did all the changes to the MMU code. We went from a kernel that hardly ran a dozen instructions before crashing, to a system that we loaded with those classic BSD games for demonstrating the project. The patch is now included in NetBSD-current.
I will never update these files, they are the final versions.
